Virtual Job Fairs

NHSC Virtual Job Fairs are a lot like traditional job fairs. They connect you with job-seeking primary care clinicians and let you meet and discuss employment opportunities at your site. Held on-line in the NHSC Virtual Job Fair website, they are live, fully interactive and scheduled at specific times throughout the year.

Unlike traditional job fairs, you don't have travel time and associated costs. You can participate in NHSC Virtual Job Fairs – for free – from your desk or home. 

During an NHSC Virtual Job Fair, you have approximately 15 minutes in a “virtual breakout room” to discuss your site, the community you serve and your currently available positions with job-seeking clinicians, many of whom are NHSC clinicians.

NHSC Virtual Job Fairs are targeted events. Site participation may be limited based on geographic location, HPSA score, number and/or types of positions available, for example, medical, dental, mental and behavioral health) and/or the type of community served, for example, urban, rural, frontier or tribal.

After the NHSC Virtual Job Fair, each site’s information, job openings and contact information is provided to participants.  

How to Participate

To participate, your site must

  • Be an active National Health Service Corps site in good standing
  • Have an eligible job vacancy in an NHSC-approved primary care discipline
  • Have a completed Health Workforce Connector site profile (see Site Profiles for more information)
  • Have access to a computer, Internet connection and a phone the day of the NHSC Virtual Job Fair
  • Register during the site registration period for the specific NHSC Virtual Job Fair in which you intend to participate

The NHSC Virtual Job Fair Team will work with you throughout the preparation and presentation process.
